Prevention is the best
cure for Osteoporosis. While it is widely known that sufficient calcium and
Vitamin D are essential to maintain strong and healthy bones, research now
shows that Magnesium is another important mineral that is essential for the
proper absorption of calcium. The problem with magnesium is that it is
difficult for the body to absorb, and it doesn’t store much of it either. So it
is important to find ways to add more magnesium to your body. An excellent way
to get your magnesium is to take an Epsom salt bath two or three times a week.
Add 2 cups of Epsom salt to your bath and soak for 20 minutes.

herniated disc
Epsom salt is known
for its natural painkiller and anti-inflammatory properties. You can ease the
pain and discomfit of a herniated disc of either the back or neck by adding 3-4
cups of salt in a hot water bath. Stay inside the bath for 15 minutes. Another
alternative to a healing Epsom salt bath is a hot Epsom salt pack. Take ¼ cup
of Epsom salt and put it in a long piece of cloth. Fold the cloth so that no
salt escapes. Dip this pack in hot water. Squeeze out the excess water. Place
the cloth over the affected area and relax. Repeat as often as necessary.
