COPD lung sounds

April 9, 2022
You can have clear lung sounds even if you have COPD. COPD Lung noises that were previously muffled may become apparent after using a bronchodilator. Wheezing may also occur as the airways open up. This is a good sign since it suggests air is moving more freely and wheezing can now be heard. Patients with COPD, particularly those with chronic bronchitis symptoms, may hear coarse crackles at the start of inspiration. These crackles have a "popping" quality to them, fluctuate in number and timing, and can be heard throughout the lungs.Happy breathing Salt Therapy for COPD at Saltworld.
